Biological Activity
Ciclesonide is a glucocorticoid antiasthmatic prodrug; de-esterified in the lung to active metabolite. Anti-inflammatory. Also blocks replication of SARS-CoV-2 in Vero cells in vitro by targeting viral NSP-15 (EC90 = 6.3μM)..Technical Data
