Detects mouse Frizzled-1 in direct ELISAs and Western blots and detects human Frizzled-1 by flow cytometry. In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross‑reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) Frizzled-9 is observed and no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Frizzled-5, rmFrizzled 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, or rhMFRP is observed.

Background: Frizzled-1

Frizzled-1 belongs to the frizzled family of 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt proteins. Frizzled-1 is expressed in a wide variety of tissues and is involved in cell differentiation, embryonal development and tumorigenesis.
