Detection of PTGFR in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human PTGFR and eGFP by Flow Cytometry HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with (A) human PTGFR or (B) irrelevant transfectants and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human PTGFR Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10294) followed by APC-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). Background: PTGFR

The prostaglandin F2-alpha receptor (or PTGR) is a member of the Prostanoid Receptor subfamily and a member of the G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) family. Along with various other prostaglandin receptors, Prostaglandin F Receptor mediates the effects of prostaglandin F2 alpha (PGF2 alpha ). Alternative mRNA splicing gives rise to many isoforms; Isoforms 2 to 7 do not bind PGF2-alpha but are proposed to modulate signaling by participating in variant receptor complexes. Some of these isoforms have been proposed to form heterodimers.
