Mouse VisUCyte HRP Polymer-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit Summary

Key Benefits

VisUCyte kit outperforms conventional Avidin-Biotin-HRP detection by providing the following advantages:

  1. High-sensitivity detection: Detect low-abundant protein targets, saving costs with reduced primary antibody usage.
  2. Lack of non-specific staining: Specific signal stays clear without interference from irrelevant staining profiles.
  3. Avidin and biotin-free: Skip the need to quench endogenous biotin, preventing non-specific tissue staining.
  4. Swift protocol: Our time-efficient staining procedure accelerates scientific data generation.
  5. Ready-to-use HRP polymer conjugated secondary antibodies: No hassle with staining optimization.
  6. Convenient packaging: Offers easy handling and no confusion with kit components.

Bio-Techne’s VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Detection Kits are an advanced research solution for streamlined and precise tissue staining. Our kits, consisting of biotin-free detection reagents, overcome challenges of avidin-biotin detection chemistry by providing faster and more efficient, specific staining on tissue sections. With the high sensitivity of VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer, primary antibody concentrations can be reduced by 2-3 times compared to conventional methods.

Our HRP polymer-conjugated secondary antibodies are versatile, reacting with all IgG subclasses, suitable for both manual protocols and tissue autostainers. Secondary  antibodies used for conjugation to HRP polymer undergo rigorous quality control, ensuring reproducibility. Due to their high sensitivity, VisUCyte™ kits are ideal for detecting low-abundant tissue proteins, providing the ability to complete IHC experiments in just 1-2 hours, while additionally resulting in significant cost savings.

Detection of Vimentin in Human Testis. Tissue sections were first incubated with Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat Vimentin Monoclonal Antibody (MAB21052) and then subjected to staining development using Mouse IgG VisUCyte HRP-DAB Kit (Catalog # VCTS001B). Specific staining was localized to the cytoplasm. Note strong and high contrast specific tissue staining and the absence of non-specific background staining produced by the VisUCyte kit.

Detection of CK 14 in Human Skin Tissue sections were first incubated with Mouse Anti-Human Cytokeratin 14 Monoclonal Antibody (MAB3164) and then subjected to staining development using Mouse VisUCyte Detection kit (Catalog# VCTS001B). Staining is confined to keratinocytes and hair follicles. Note strong and high contrast specific tissue staining and the absence of non-specific background staining produced by the VisUCyte kit.

Side-by-side comparison of staining using different detection chemistries on adjacent tissue sections of Human Lung Tumor. Vimentin was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human lung tumor using Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat Vimentin Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB21052) at 1 µg/ml overnight at 4 °C followed by incubation with the Mouse VisUCyte HRP Polymer-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (Catalog # VCTS001B) and a generic Avidin-biotin kit. Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to the membrane. Strong specific tissue staining is seen using VisUCyte kit.
