Leukocyte Receptors/Markers in Tfh Cell Differentiation and Function
Differentiation of Tfh cells is initiated in the T cell zone of secondary lymph tissue by dendritic cells binding to CD molecules present on naïve T cells. The differentiation process continues with the activated T cells binding to B cells at the periphery of the B cell follicle. Both this T cell-B cell interaction, as well as the binding of Tfh cells to centrocytes, requires stimulation of several leukocyte receptors, including CD40, CD80 and CD86. R&D Systems offers products for examination of leukocyte receptors in Tfh cell differentiation and function.
