Biological Activity
Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant. Antagonist at A1 and A2A adenosine receptors and inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases. Mobilizes calcium from intracellular stores and inhibits benzodiazepine binding to GABA receptors.Technical Data
