Detection of Lgr6 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human Lgr6 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with human Lgr6 and eGFP was stained with either (A) Mouse Anti-Human Lgr6 PE‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB84581P) or (B) Mouse IgG2A Isotype Control (IC003P). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-Associated Proteins protocol.

Background: Lgr6

Lgr6 is a glycoprotein hormone receptor phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR. It is a member of the leucine-rich repeat-containing subgroup of the G protein-coupled 7-transmembrane protein superfamily. Lgr6 is a high affinity receptor for R-Spondins 1-3 and potentially functions as a tumor suppressor despite its positive effect on Wnt/ beta -Catenin signaling.
