Detection of IgD in Mouse Splenocytes by Flow Cytometry Mouse splenocytes were stained with Rat Anti-Mouse B220/CD45R PE-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1217P) and either (A) Rat Anti-Mouse IgD Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB9858) or (B) Rat IgG2A Isotype Control (Catalog # MAB006) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0113). Background: IgD

Immunoglobulin D (IgD) is an antibody isotype typically expressed in the plasma membranes of naïve B cells, usually co-expressed with IgM. IgD is also found secreted in small amounts in serum. Secreted IgD is produced as a monomeric antibody with two heavy chains of the delta class, and two Ig light chains.
