Antibody development is highly dependent on proper controls, sample preparation, and repeat testing. Other important factors in developing antibodies that address a specific problem are choosing the correct antibody type (mono- or polyclonal) and, in some cases, selecting the appropriate species of the host animal. This webinar will highlight the importance of having an integrated approach to antibody reagent development, which includes antigen design, testing, and quality control. Using examples for Western Blot, flow cytometry, and other major applications we will show some pitfalls and improvements in our 20 years of experience in developing new reagents.
