Background: NgR3/NgRH2

NgR3, also known as Nogo 66 receptor homolog 2 (NgRH2) and reticulon 4 receptor-like 1 (RTN4RL1), is a 60 kDa GPI-linked glycoprotein belonging to the family of leucine-rich repeat (LRR) proteins. It contains eight central LRRs that are flanked by a LRR N-terminal subdomain and a cysteine-rich C-terminal subdomain. Human NgR3 shares approximately 89% amino acid sequence homology with the mouse or rat protein.

Long Name
Nogo-66 Receptor-related Protein 3/Nogo-66 Receptor Homolog 2/Reticulon-4 Receptor-like 1
