Cytokine-release syndrome (CRS) is associated with some cancer immunotherapies and infectious diseases, including SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19, and can be fatal if not properly identified and managed. Monitoring circulating levels of inflammatory biomarkers, like IL-6, TNF alpha, and IFN gamma, is an important step in determining the response to immunotherapy treatment and in predicting the likelihood of adverse effects like CRS.

The Immunotherapy Performance Assay is a multiplex Luminex® bead-based assay that allows for rapid, sensitive, and economical profiling of inflammatory biomarkers associated with the host response to immune-based therapies or infectious disease.
